Gexpro Rexel Rescue Bear ® Charity Team Building Event in Dallas

Gexpro Rexel recently had their leadership team participate in a Rescue Bear ® charity team building event in Dallas, TX.

Gexpro Rexel employees from here in Dallas, across the US, and some from Europe attended this leadership conference. The group created almost 50 stuffed animals that were donated to the Dallas Ronald McDonald House. The animals were included in Welcome Kits for children with serious illnesses who come to Children’s Medical Center in Dallas for long term care. The Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for the families of these sick children. They give the parents of these children one less thing to worry about so that they can focus on helping their children get well. “The kids are going to love these!”

Gexpro Rexel is one of the world’s largest electrical distributors. Their leadership meeting focused on hands-on business-building initiatives to help their customers thrive. As a climax to the meeting, the organizers hired The Leader’s Institute ® to perform their Rescue Bear ® charity team building event in Dallas as a crescendo to their annual meeting. Everyone had a blast. The event organizer received fantastic feedback from the group.

Participants had a great time poking fun at various personality temperaments that emerged during the activities. Groups drew on each participants’ strength to solve various challenges and riddles. As each group acquired the various materials that they needed to build the stuffed animals, they quickly realized that other teams had important items as well. Trading between teams began so that the task could be completed.
