Dallas Locations for Good Team Building Events
Dallas, Texas and its surrounding cities and suburbs have a fantastic variety of locations to conduct good team building activities. Whether you are looking for a specific hotel or venue for an event or just looking for some quick ideas for a fun team building outing for your employees, you can use the list below for help.
Downtown Dallas, TX: Downtown Dallas is a great place to plan a corporate event or team building activity, because there are lots of great hotels as well as fun venues for meeting, games, and activities. The West End in Dallas has great restaurants and pubs as well as museums, and the Convention Center is close by as well. Light-rail trains run throughout the downtown area and connect Dallas to the suburbs, and the Trinity Railway Express runs to Ft Worth. Plano - Richardson - Addison: The northern suburbs of Dallas like Plano, Richardson, and Addison have great locations for team meetings. The North LBJ Freeway area in Addison and North Central Expressway in Richardson have great hotels and have major throughways that link them to the rest of the metroplex. Many of the major employers in the area are based in Plano, and with the 121 Tollway and Dallas North Tollway, Plano and Addison are directly connected to both Love Field and DFW airport. The Galleria Mall area in Addison is also a nice location because of the three major hotels nearby. Irving - Coppell - Los Colinas: Because Irving is so close to DFW airport, many companies like to schedule their annual meetings here. Coppell and Los Colinas are smaller cities in the Irving area that are fairly upscale regions. Since we do a lot of charity team building activities in Irving, we have a great relationship with all of the local children's charities here, as well. Coppell is home of the Dallas Cowboy's office in Valley Ranch, and Los Colinas is the home of William's Square and the fantastic mustangs sculpture that you see on your left. Frisco - The Colony - Lewisville: The 121 corridor that runs from Lewisville through The Colony and out to Frisco and Allen is one of the newest and trendiest areas in Dallas/Ft Worth. Frisco is home of Dr. Pepper Ballpark and Dr. Pepper Arena which has a nice convention center and a number of hotels. As you move closer to The Colony and Lewisville, I-35 leads to both to Carrolton and eventually back to the downtown area, and up north, you'll find Denton and eventually, the Oklahoma casinos. Denton - McKinney - Allen: If you are looking for a more relaxed area with big-city convenience, then Denton is a great solution. Denton has great hotels as well as bed and breakfast locations, and the Denton Town Square is like stepping back in time 100 years. (Make sure and try Cartwright's Ranch House for a meal.) A little closer to the metroplex is both McKinney and Allen, TX which both have more elegant town squares and shops. |
