Good Team Building Activity Locations in Ft Worth and Arlington
Ft Worth and other Tarrant County cities like Arlington and Grapevine have many great locations to for team building activities. Whether you are looking for a historic location to conduct an outdoor team building scavenger hunt, an elegant hotel that is close to fun venues, or a convention center for a bigger annual meeting or convention, then the Ft Worth side of the Dallas metroplex is a great alternative. Below are some of our favorite places in Ft Worth and Tarrant County.
Fort Worth Stockyards: The Stockyards is, by far, one of our absolute favorite places to conduct team building activities, because it is like stepping back in time almost 100 years while still having all of the modern conveniences. The Stockyards hotel is great for a small group, and the new Hyatt is better for bigger groups. There are so many things to do on this single street from visit two wonderful museums, take a ride on horseback down the Trinity River, or spend a little time in the world's largest honky-tonk. Something for everyone. Downtown Fort Worth, Sundance Square: New renovations in Sundance Square are making a great location for team building even better. Dozens of restaurants, the Worthington and Hilton Hotels, Four Day Weekend Comedy Troop, and a nice convention center make the downtown area a great place for meetings and conventions (and at a much better price than in the big cities). The area makes for a great backdrop for scavenger hunts and treasure hunts, because of all of the hidden historic treasures in the area like the hotel where JFK slept the night before his assassination and the cattle drive mural. Ft Worth is a laid back place to let your group bond with each other in a very fun way. Meeting planners around the world choose this location over and over. Arlington, Texas: Arlington is the just a few miles away from Dallas-Ft-Worth Airport, and it is the entertainment capital of Texas. Arlington is home of Six Flags Over Texas, The Ballpark in Arlington where the Texas Rangers play, and Jerry Jones' newest World Wonder, Cowboy Stadium. All of these locations can partner with your company to include pre or post-game parties for your group, and Six Flags will even close the park early on certain days to cater entirely to your group (if your group is big enough). If you are looking for a fun and memorable experience, this city is fantastic. Grapevine, Texas: Grapevine is probably THE most convenient place in DFW to organize a big meeting, because it is so close to DFW Airport and because it is right in the middle of both Dallas and Ft Worth. The Gaylord Texan is one of the most popular hotels in the region, because it has a huge convention center attached and is very picturesque. However, the Airport Hilton and The Great Wolf Lodge are also popular choices in Grapevine. |
